Cycon Scope included construction of the Train Maintenance Facility Carpark, various structural slabs and foundations including construction of the fire tank slab, HV Substation slab and placement of TMF carpark subbase.

Cycon Monero were commended for their ‘ahead of schedule’ completion of the initial half of the carpark. It was completed in a record 4 weeks instead of the required 5 weeks allowing multiple stakeholders to access the TMF and utilise the carpark immediately.

During the construction of the carpark and structural works, Cycon Monero strictly used sustainable construction materials, these included 50%+ SCM concrete mixes in all pours, recycled concrete pavement layers. Additionally, high RAP content is planned to be used in the asphalt layers. These practices led to a lower carbon impact for the project, with minimised wastage and raw material usage
