During his time in the family business, Tony pursued formal studies in engineering, which provided him with a solid technical foundation. His career then expanded to working with Tier 1 contractors across the construction sector, where he honed his skills and deepened his industry expertise.

In 2010, leveraging his extensive experience and vision, Tony founded Cycon Civil. Under his leadership, the company has grown significantly over nearly two decades, now employing over 350 dedicated professionals. Cycon Civil has successfully completed numerous projects and has earned a reputation as a respected leader in the Heavy Civil Infrastructure sector. Tony’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and relationship-building continues to drive the company's success and industry standing.

With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Anthony Vavallo has been a driving force behind some of Australia’s most prominent infrastructure projects. His extensive portfolio includes critical undertakings such as the Craigieburn Bypass, the Adelaide Desalination Plant, and the Westgate Tunnel Project.
